Community-Wide Capacity Building Session

Economic Developers Alberta is collaborating with Special Areas Board to host this community capacity-building session. 

Given community economic development is truly a team effort, we believe that by understanding the game plan, having the right players (both traditional and non-traditional partners) in place, and working together, are crucial elements for success. This rings especially true in a rural and remote context, where you may not have an economic development officer or committee, or where challenges are unique, but not insurmountable.

Who should attend:

• Those practicing, or interesting in supporting economic development;
• Elected officials, business organizations, Chamber of Commerce admin or members;
• Trade organizations looking to support business or regional development.

NOTE: There is no charge to attend, however, this session is only for participants in the Special Areas Board. To register for the event, please use the Registration Code provided by the Special Areas Board.
