Judging Criteria and Weight

The 2023 Awards of Excellence are project & outcome based achievement and judged accordingly.

We offer the opportunity to entrants to judge one other in a category or group submission. This is allows EDA members who have not participated on the EDA board an insight into the process and to assure that we have an open and fair adjudication process.

To demonstrate project effectiveness, in a 750-word Project Abstract please describe the project activities related to the following topics:

• Outcomes, effectiveness in achieving objectives, goal achievements, impacts – 20%
• Creativity and uniqueness of approach, innovation and originality – 10%
• Effective use of media in a project – 10%
• Stakeholder development, community/partnership engagement – 5%
• Implementation of ESG - 5%

Project activities, significant achievements or outcomes must have taken place between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022.
