September 26, 2016 4:30 PM | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Do you have unique ideas and creative insights that an audience of over 400 local, national and international experts in the field of economic development might be interested in?

Each year, we look for speakers to address a variety of topics related to current economic development issues during our Annual Conference. If you have a relevant and distinctive topic that you would like to present then we would like to hear from you. We also have a few suggestions of topics that we feel our audience might be interested in and we invite you to submit a proposal that addresses these topics as well:

  • Speakers from outside Alberta to address the value of Petrochem; Agri Foods; Forestry
  • Agribusiness
  • Smart Cities
  • Green/Circular Economy
  • Celebrating First Nation's economy

Please read the Call for Conference Papers guidelines here. The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2016.

EDA's Annual Conference is being held at the Banff Centre March 22-24, 2017. The theme is "Embracing Change; Creating Opportunity." Registration is open.

See you at the Conference.
