EDA’s Annual General Meeting & Professional Conference attracts approximately 400 local, national and international experts in the field of economic development and elected officials from various parts of our province. Delegates are provided with updates on economic development issues and trends, best practices, inspiring keynote addresses and valuable networking opportunities.
EDA’s next annual conference is being held November 25-27, 2020 at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta. This beautiful, recently renovated, modern conference venue offers a stunning backdrop to showcase your organization to economic developers and elected officials from Alberta’s communities and regions. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are currently working on offering a unique hybrid conference experience this year so stay tuned!

Pre-Conference networking event: Held the evening of Tuesday November 24, the night before the Conference begins, at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, "Rock in the Rockies" is an opportunity for you to get a head start on catching up with your colleagues and making new connections. EDA Awards of Excellence: The awards are presented at EDA's Annual Conference during the Minister's Dinner and Awards Banquet. You must be an EDA Member in good standing to apply.
The EDA Annual Awards of Excellence Program recognizes the province’s best economic development marketing materials, programs, partnerships and professionals that have made significant contributions to the profession.
