The Outstanding Young Professional Award recognizes a young member who demonstrates notable professional accomplishments to date and shows great future potential. This award serves to enhance Alberta’s economic development profession by celebrating young professionals and promoting future leaders. Any member in good standing may nominate one or more candidate(s) for consideration.
Nominee Eligibility: An individual who is 35 years of age or under and is an EDA voting member in good standing and resides within Alberta.
Criteria: The following criteria are considered:
- 35 years of age or under as of February 1, 2019
- Currently employed in the economic development profession in Alberta
- A detailed list of the Nominee’s professional achievements to date and promise for the future, including:

Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for this category.
Deadline: Entries are accepted until 4:30 PM MST, Friday February 22, 2019.
