The announcement of new and changed provincial programs and billions in federal funding have left unaddressed the crisis of unpaid oilfield property taxes. Municipalities and private landowners must get informed and get engaged with the growing problem of unfunded oilfield cleanup.

Together, the Alberta Liabilities Disclosure Project  https://www.aldpcoalition.com  and ALCES https://www.alces.ca have the data and expertise to help you understand the issue in your community and guide you through self-help strategies aimed at municipalities and landowners with escalating budget shortfalls and few obvious options.
