This session is a special condensed version of EDA's Economic Disaster Resilience & Recovery Workshop being offered by EDA in conjunction with the EDAC conference.

The workshop will include:

An introduction to community resilience
Phases of a disaster: In the context of economic recovery and development
Government roles and responsibilities after a disaster
Business assistance before and after a crisis

This workshop designed to help prepare local elected officials, community leaders and economic development leadership to support economic development, disaster resilience and economic recovery activities in their communities.
